We are located less than four miles south of Burlington, Vermont, directly on Route 7 at 3155 Shelburne Road in the beautiful Town of Shelburne. Come visit us and see the spectacular foliage of Autumn, our beautiful Springs and refreshing Summers. And, if you like to ski, shoe, snowmobile, etc., don't miss our Winters.
Lake Champlain (the sixth Great Lake!) is only 2 miles away and the Town of Shelburne is loaded with great attractions such as Vermont Teddy Bear, the world famous Shelburne Museum, and Shelburne Farms. We also have a great Bed & Breakfast right next door called The Heart of the Village. For all featured links click here. http://www.shelburnevt.org/information/
The Country Christmas Loft has been a beloved Vermont tradition since 1989, welcoming visitors to a world where the season never ends. Nestled in the charming Village of Shelburne, our family-run shop celebrates the spirit of Christmas with warmth, wonder, and a touch of New England nostalgia.
Step inside and explore 14 themed rooms filled with ornaments, villages, toys, lighting, and festive treasures for every holiday. At the center of it all is our 2,000-square-foot Walking Village, a handcrafted miniature New England streetscape complete with a bakery, barbershop, and even a tiny replica of the Shelburne Country Store. Each building glows with life, inviting guests of all ages to peek through the windows and rediscover the joy of the season.
For more than three decades, we’ve taken pride in being Vermont’s authentic Christmas store—a place where families return year after year to find keepsakes, gifts, and traditions that last a lifetime. Whether you’re searching for a special ornament, exploring our Halloween room, or simply soaking in the magic, The Country Christmas Loft offers an experience that feels like stepping into a storybook
