Description
15" Nutcracker - Soldier with Black Fur Hat
Our 15-inch nutcracker stands at attention in a tall black fur hat with a gold star, a red sequin coat and a long rifle at his side. He has a snowy white beard, rosy cheeks and a sturdy red base, so he can hold his post on a shelf, mantel or windowsill all season.
Nutcrackers have stood guard over German Christmas tables since the 1800s, and Tchaikovsky's 1892 ballet turned them into holiday royalty. Legend says they bring good luck and keep the household safe, which is a lot to ask of someone this size.
