A 20-inch red velvet stocking with a cluster of sequin Christmas trees in silver and gold, finished with a plush white cuff and a hanging loop. The sequins catch the light from the tree and the fire.
Christmas trees made their way from Germany to England and America in the 1800s, helped along by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Sequins came later, and we think the trees approve.
