All Is Bright Light String Card

Hang up a little holiday glow with this 5 x 7 inch card. Against a deep evergreen background, looping strands of lights in yellow, pink, red, and green wind around the front, and four raised bulbs stand out from the page. Holographic foil accents add shimmer to the bulbs and the bright "ALL IS BRIGHT" lettering. Inside, the same strands frame the page, and green script wishes you a season filled with light and happiness. The envelope carries foil and matches the design.

Before electricity, people lit their Christmas trees with real candles, which made every holiday tree a bit of a fire hazard. The first electric tree lights arrived in 1882, when Edward H. Johnson, an associate of Thomas Edison, strung 80 red, white, and blue bulbs on a tree in his New York home. Those strands are a long way from the glowing lights on this card, but they started a tradition that still brightens the season.
