Candy Shoppe Christmas Card Set - Let It Snow Snowman

This cheerful snowman has his own pink pom-pom hat, a red scarf dotted with white curls, and a carrot nose pointing straight at the holiday season. Stick arms wave hello beside two festive evergreens, each one wearing a garland and orange ornaments, while the script "Let it Snow" settles across his round belly. The mint background and frosty white ground make the whole scene feel crisp, bright, and ready for a snow day.

The song that gave this card its message has a sunnier origin than you might expect. Sammy Cahn and Jule Styne wrote "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!" in the middle of a hot Los Angeles summer in 1945, and Vaughn Monroe's recording became a hit that same year. Writers have been dreaming up winter weather in July for a long time, and snowmen have been making winter cheerful for generations, so this one is in very good company.

Inside, the verse reads "Warm wishes for a happy holiday season," a friendly greeting for neighbors, coworkers, and anyone who could use a little extra warmth on a cold day.
