Twinkling Tree Gem

Good things come in small packages, and this little tree is proof! It’s a tiny evergreen ready to light up your holiday season, catching the light and sparkling like it’s been waiting all year for its moment in the spotlight. Hang it on the tree, the mantel, or wherever a bit of extra shimmer is needed, and it will spread holiday joy with zero effort on your part.

The Christmas tree itself is a German invention, or at least a German obsession, with decorated evergreens showing up in homes there by the 1600s. Over the centuries, the trimmings got fancier, and by the 1800s, glassblowers in Lauscha, Germany, were turning out delicate glass ornaments that gave the tree its sparkle. A tree that twinkles is simply carrying on a very old and very dazzling tradition.
