Evergreen Happy Holidays Card

Wrap your holiday greetings in the quiet elegance of winter greenery. This 5 x 7 inch card is framed by a raised gold foil border, and "happy holidays" stands out in raised gold lettering over a kraft-toned background embossed with pine, holly, and pinecones. Open it up and "warmest wishes this holiday season" appears in soft green script, with a pinecone tucked into the corner. The full-color envelope carries a gold foil accent, so a little shine follows the card wherever it goes.

Long before greeting cards existed, people brought evergreen boughs indoors in midwinter as a reminder that green life could endure the cold and the dark. The Christmas tree grew out of that same tradition, taking root in Germany and spreading from there. Pinecones and holly have carried the message ever since, so this card sends an old wish in a new envelope: may the green things in your life keep on thriving.
