Mitten Warm Wishes Card

Bundle up with a card that's as cozy as a pair of mittens. Two raised green mittens with black ribbed cuffs hang from a stitched cord across a whitewashed wood-plank background. Gold foil traces the border, the scattered snowflakes, and the script "warm wishes." Inside, a green serif sentiment wishes you comfort, joy, and happiness, and the foil-lined envelope adds a bit of shine.

Hand coverings have kept people warm for thousands of years, long before knitting made them a common home craft. Snowflake motifs like the ones on these mittens are a classic in Scandinavian knitting, where regional patterns were often worked into mittens as a sign of home. That's a fitting bit of tradition for a card meant to be passed along to someone you care about.
