NECA Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2012 Cartoon Leonardo 7" Action Figure (Ultimate Version)

Every team needs a leader, and Leonardo has the job nailed down, katanas and all. NECA’s Ultimate figure gets his 2012 animated look right, with sharp paint work that pops like a frame from the show. He comes with a full kit of episode-specific gear, including smoke bombs for dramatic exits and a Turtlecom for checking in with the brothers. There’s also the gloriously named Microfission Omni-Disintegrator, because no ninja has ever said no to a gadget with a name like that.

Nickelodeon’s 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles gave the heroes in a half shell a fresh, character-driven makeover. This Leo was earnest, a little nerdy and fiercely loyal. He was also a devoted fan of the in-show sci-fi series Space Heroes, and he often borrowed his pep talks from its captain, much to his brothers’ eye-rolling dismay. Under the blue mask, though, he grew into the steady leader his family needed. The box features illustrations by Ciro Nieli, the series’ developer and executive producer.
