Description

Snowflake Dot Wrap (Frost Blue)

A soft frosted blue fills the sheet, dotted with rows of white snowflakes staggered like the sort of pattern you'd find on a winter tablecloth. Each flake has its own tiny lacework of points and stars, so up close the sheet looks like it was stenciled by a very patient frost. It's a quiet, airy wrap that suits a minimalist gift or a room full of cozy winter color.

Snowflakes have fascinated people for centuries, but the first photograph of one wasn't taken until 1885. Wilson "Snowflake" Bentley, a farmer in Jericho, Vermont, spent years capturing snow crystals through a microscope attached to a bellows camera, and he concluded that no two were exactly alike. Each flake's hexagonal shape comes from the way water molecules lock together as they freeze, which is a tidy bit of chemistry for a wrap that looks this charming.
