Lighted Spinning Water Globe Toy Soldier (Silver Base)

The toy soldier nutcracker comes from the Ore Mountains of Germany, where woodcarver Wilhelm Füchtner began making the familiar soldier style in the 1870s. They were made famous by E.T.A. Hoffmann's 1816 story and then Tchaikovsky's 1892 ballet, where a humble nutcracker leads the toy army against the Mouse King. This one skips the nutcracking and goes straight to glowing.
